BACKGROUND:
After inheriting the retail and real estate conglomerate in Asia, Oliver became the heir as the eldest son. He had a happy and fulfilling life until he met Debbie, whom he fell in love with. The two had a daughter together, but Oliver’s difficulties in life eventually became too much for him to handle, and he left both of them to return home to Manila with his family. Five years later, his father's death meant he was now the chairman of the conglomerate. While Deborah never responded to his overtures, Oliver still secretly followed her and their daughter's lives from afar, refusing to give up hope that one day they could be reunited.
