Poetry
Embarking on the journey of four-line poetry was a conscious decision to capture the ebb and flow of my emotions in a concise, yet profound manner. I found that these succinct verses allowed me to encapsulate my feelings at any given moment, providing a snapshot of my internal world. This form of expression, with its unique blend of brevity and depth, offered a refreshing way to explore my thoughts and emotions, making it an ideal medium for articulating my experiences. It became a therapeutic outlet, a means of self-reflection, and a way to share my innermost sentiments with the world.

Down the Very Road with You
On the road, where sorrow
is my constant guide,
Not always alone,
but with pain at my side.
In life's journey,
where anguish can't hide,
With or without company,
it's a tear-streaked ride.

Playlist and Prose
In the harmony of words,
our playlist takes flight,
My prose, your ideas,
a rhythm so right.
In the concert of creation,
each track tells a tale,
Together we weave stories,
in this lyrical trail.

Tulips in Spring
As tulips bloom with spring's first light,
love stirs a new beginning's flight,
In petal hues of passion's call,
they rise from winter's pall.
A fresh start in the soft spring air,
with love and tulips everywhere,
New beginnings, love so rare,
wrapped in spring's gentle care.
Except from the novel
WHY DO TULIPS WHISPER LOVE IN SPRING?
by Justine Castellon

'Bye, Jack
Harsh words spoken,
regret in our wake,
A bond once unbroken,
now starts to break.
With hearts heavy
and eyes teary,
We part ways,
memories growing weary.
Except from short story ‘BYE, JACK by Justine Castellon

I Love You,
Sunday Sunset
In the hush of
Sunday's golden retreat,
Your fiery hues
make my heart skip a beat.
Bathed in your glow,
my soul feels complete,
A magical end to the week,
so sweet.
Except from the novel
GNIGHT, SARA / 'NIGHT, HECK
by Justine Castellon & Mike Dee

Betrayal
A trust once whole,
now shattered in dismay,
Betrayal's wound,
a cruel and bitter play.
In silent whispers,
loyalty did fray,
Leaving hearts broken
in its cold array.

Autumn
Autumn leaves in hues of fire,
inspire the scribe's desire,
Words fall like rain,
in this season of mire.
Each rustling page,
a whispering gust,
In Autumn's embrace,
we write as we must.

Parisian Cafe
In a Parisian cafe,
pen scribbles with delight,
Sipping coffee
under the city’s soft twilight.
Brinner on the table,
a charming sight,
Where day meets night
in a writer’s flight.
08
'Bye
In the quiet echo of a
heart breaking goodbye,
Courage in each step,
under the open sky.
A path is chosen,
with a journey to embrace,
Walking away,
with dignity and grace.
07
Brinner
In the glow
of evening’s tender light,
Brinner calls,
a culinary delight.
Pancakes stacked,
syrup cascading in sight,
A breakfast feast
at dinner’s invite.
06
Desire
In the hush of twilight,
our passions ignite,
Two bodies in rhythm,
lost in the night.
A dance of desire,
in love's soft light,
An intimate journey
to the peak of delight.
05
Silent Dream
Under the full moon’s radiant gleam,
Dreams awake from their silent stream.
They dance in light, pure and serene,
In a world where only dreamers have been.
04
Phantom and Shadows
In the shadows thrives a bond,
unique and grand,
A friendship with the phantom,
unseen yet at hand.
Silent whispers in the night,
counsel pure and bright,
An ethereal companionship,
veiled by the moonlight.

Where's My Sun?
When you're ailing,
I'm your sun,
Nursing, soothing,
till your strength begun.
But when I falter, feeling frail,
no hand to understand,
In solitude, I find my strength,
alone, yet firm, I stand.
02
Writing
In the realm of words,
my heart takes flight,
No force can quell
this burning light.
For it's in writing
I find my way,
No soul can steal
this passion away.

Twenty-Four
In twenty-three, a year of grace,
A chapter filled with joy's embrace.
Two novels born from heart and mind,
In every word, my soul entwined.
A dream fulfilled in Paris' glow,
In cafes where the writers go.
In each new friend, a treasure found,
In global bonds, we're tightly bound.
So here's to twenty-three's bright cheer,
A beacon for the coming year.
With gratitude, we turn the page,
Ready for twenty-four's grand stage.
